During any given day your brain naturally goes into an alpha wave length state. We normally call this process 'daydreaming', 'lost in thought', or 'meditating', but it is also a form of self hypnosis. During hypnotherapy, we utilize this hypnotic state to facilitate desired behavioural changes such as dealing with fears and phobias as well as to increase performance, build confidence, eliminate habits, and reduce stress.
