APR 2019 CLEBL Course – A Deeper Dive:  The Intersection Between Family Law and Psychology 2019

Alyson Jones will be amongst a group of experts presenting to both the legal and mental health community at the Continuing Legal Education of BC Course A Deeper Dive: The Intersection Between Family Law and Psychology 2019. This event will be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel (999 Canada Place, Vancouver) and run daily on April 11th and 12th from 9am to 4pm. 

Alyson will be co-chairing this innovative conference with esteemed Lawyers John-Paul Boyd and Morag MacLeod. This course is aimed at understanding the thoughts, behaviours, and emotions in the case. 

Alyson will be co-chairing the entire course and presenting on the following:

  1. Therapeutic & Legal Interventions in High conflict cases
  2. Attachment, Parenting Plans and Parent Child Contact Problems

This event is open to all professionals involved in family breakdown, including lawyers, judges, mental health professionals, mediators and arbitrator of all learning levels.

This course will include a minimum of two hours of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management. This is the two-day update to our acclaimed program, Assessments and Interventions: The Intersection of Family Law and Psychology. As in 2016, this course is taught by a multidisciplinary faculty of expert psychologists, clinical counsellors, lawyers and judges, who will provide insights and practical guidance on the challenging intersections of law and psychology in family law disputes.
