The focus of this therapy is to assist clients in learning to focus and regulate emotions that are interfering in one’s life. DBT works well with complex issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders. This therapy focuses on acceptance and change, increasing tolerance to emotional distress and improving relationships.
