JAN 2019 CLEBC Intermediate Mediation Course
Alyson Jones will be a guest speaker presenting on the Cost of Conflict on Children: How to Create Containment Strategies that Protect Children in Family Disputes.
This course will give you a better understanding of family dynamics and power in mediation. You will also learn about process design options and have the opportunity to enhance your interview skills through role play and exercises. Finally, you will hear about how to document and record sessions, agreements, and memorandums of understanding to give you a better understanding of the nature and source of conflict in the context of family dispute resolution, and the role and objectives of a mediator. For those wishing to become Family Law Mediators under the Family Law Act, this is the third of four courses in our 80-hour curriculum.
